A local Company ‘Unicorn Fire and Safety Solutions Ltd’ has just further enhanced the family nature of its business by appointing ‘Fox Fire’ as its principal fire extinguisher maintenance contractor.
‘Fox Fire’ is a new Shropshire company which is owned and managed by Lindsay Fox, the daughter of Unicorn Fire & Safety’s Managing Director Mike Ablitt.
Mike said ‘I am so pleased and proud to be working with Lindsay, she is one of the most diligent and capable people I have worked with.’ he went on ‘Fox Fires work ethics of - high standards, reliability and sensible fees fit perfectly with our own. This is a great step forward for both our organisations’.
Lindsay becomes one of the very few female Fire Extinguisher Engineers in the Country.
When put to her that this isn’t the career choice of many women, Lindsay replied ‘That doesn’t bother me at all, I find it really interesting and I meet so many really lovely customers. All my dad’s team were firefighters and I see this as my own way of helping to keep our county safe’.
Unicorn Fire & Safety is made up of ex firefighters and Fire Safety Officers from Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service and already provides Fire Risk Assessments, consultancy advice and Fire Safety Training.
