Mike - Extinguisher Technician and MD
Mike served as the head of Fire Safety for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service until his retirement in 2010.
Upon his retirement, Mike formed Unicorn Fire & Safety Solutions Ltd. He provides Fire Risk Assessments and Training.
Mac - Extinguisher Technician
Mac is also one of our Fire Extinguisher Engineers. Formerly an Operational Firefighter and Watch Manager with Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service, Mac has a vast experience in tackling fires.
He also lectures at the Fire Service College and as well as maintaining our clients firefighting equipment, he provides extinguisher training to their staff.
Lindsay - Extinguisher Technician
Lindsay is one of a handful of female extinguisher engineers working in the UK.
Lindsay spent many years as a manager in retail and uses her skills to ensure clients get first-class customer service.
She is qualified in the inspection, servicing and maintenance of all portable fire extinguishers.
Adrian Price GIFE - Instructor
Adrian is one of our most senior Instructors. As well as Fire Safety, Adrian delivers First Aid and Health & Safety training.
He served as an operational firefighter and as a Fire Safety Officer with the Fire Service for 30 years.
His background and experience enables Adrian to make the training realistic rather than just ‘out of the book’.
Hayley - Accounts Manager
Hayley has been with Unicorn since its beginning and now manages the company’s finances.
She works with the Admin Support Team ensuring our clients receive an efficient and friendly service.

Jen - Admin Team Manager
Jennifer retired from her role with the National Health Service and now manages the companies back office.
She has many years’ experience in commerce, retail and the Hospital environment.
As well as the many tasks involved in the day to day running of the company’s administrative base, Jenny overseas Unicorns Quality Control procedures.
ZAK
Zak joined us in 2015 with the intention of supporting our Fire Investigation Team as a sniffer dog.
Unfortunately, Zac had other ideas and prefers the good life!
Don’t worry, we didn’t sack him, we made him ‘Head of Security’……….. Turns out he’s not very good at that either!!
